Accommodation

West Ferlochan is a well appointed traditional Scottish hill farm cottage in Benderloch. Our cottage near Oban is in a tranquil location close to Loch Creran. It is situated by the A828 Oban/Fort William road and therefore provides excellent access to the best of the West Highlands and a whole range of recreational facilities. The ferry port of Oban is the "Gateway to the Isles".

On the first floor there are two main bedrooms, each with 6ft beds which can be divided in to twins if required. Each has a large built in cupboard. The master bedroom has a wall mounted satellite Freeview TV. The first floor bathroom has a bath with a shower unit, hand basin and WC.

Downstairs there is a small children's bedroom with twin 2'6" beds. There is a bathroom with a shower cubicle, hand wash basin and WC.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, twin sink, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. There is a docking station for iPod/iPhone. The dining table seats 6 comfortably.

The lounge sits six in comfort. There is an open fireplace and a 40" satellite Freeview TV and WiFi.

There is a good sized utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, twin Belfast sink, boot storage and coat hanging space, which is ideal for the Scottish Highlands.

Guests have the sole use of the two small lawns to the front and rear of the cottage.

There are many walks to be had on the farm from almost sea level up to the top of Sguir Mor - the owner's Mount Everest! From here you will have spectacular views of Loch Creran, Mull (in the distance) and mountain views towards Ben Nevis.

The accommodation will be ready after 4pm on the day of arrival and must be departed by 10am on the day of departure. Click here for more terms and conditions.
